Subject: 600MW/2.4GWh Energy Storage Project Launched in Inner Mongolia, China
The Alxa Dingyuanying independent energy storage project in Inner Mongolia has completed filing with 600MW/2.4GWh capacity and 4-hour duration. Total investment is 2.163 billion yuan. Construction runs from March 2026 to June 2027. The facility will connect to a 500kV substation, supporting grid peak shaving, frequency regulation, and renewable energy integration.
